The project explores exchanging, learning, and teaching without economic pressure as a means of bordering otherwise. The neutral grounding provides a space that is positive for hybridity while maintaining the integrity of each native culture. The assembling of a hybrid culture is achieved through the provisions of work, labor, and public. Within the context of Hannah Arendt’s philosophy, work produces durable things to theoretically last forever while labor produces things to be consumed and sustain biological life.

Documentation of techniques and recipes will allow these practices to live on within the newly defined culture. This in turn opens a place of belonging, development of a capacity as free human beings, and opportunity for networking between those who would otherwise never cross paths outside of nay form of economic pressure.
